The object is for golfers to earn points to try to best meet or exceed their quota and get into positive points. The course quota will be set to -36. For example, a golfer with a 3PH would start with a score of -33, while a 12PH would start with a score of -24. The 3 handicapper must earn 33 points to break even, whereas the 12 handicapper only needs 24 points. Points are awarded for gross scores as follows: Bogey – 1 | Par – 2 | Birdie – 4 | Eagle – 7 | Albatross/HIO – 10. All total scores will combine for an aggregate team final score. Tees – By default, play is from the white tees; members aged 75+ or aged 65+ with a 18HI+ may opt to play the yellow tees Flights – based on final playing handicaps; 32-59 players = 2 flights; 60+ players = 3 flights Prizes – Payouts are based on field composition, with a higher percentage of funds and positions weighted towards net competitions.
